De Zerbi's Tactical Philosophy
De Zerbi's tactics are centered around a 4-2-3-1 formation. This system allows Brighton to be fluid and versatile in both possession and out of possession. In possession, the team looks to build from the back with patient passing and movement. Out of possession, they maintain a high defensive line and press aggressively to regain possession.
One of the key strengths of De Zerbi's tactics is the team's ability to create chances through intelligent movement and quick passing. The forwards are given the freedom to roam and create space for each other, while the midfielders provide support with incisive passing and driving runs.
However, De Zerbi's tactics are not without their vulnerabilities. The team can sometimes be exposed to counterattacks when they push forward, and they can struggle to break down teams that defend deep.
